Dashboards & reporting

Know what is happening, without going looking.

Role-gated dashboards that surface what needs you today, and reports that answer the questions your board, your accountant and your auditor will ask.

There are two different jobs here, and most HR tools only do one. Reporting answers the questions you already knew to ask. A dashboard tells you about the thing you had no reason to ask about - the third one-day absence this quarter, the return-to-work interview that quietly slipped, the policy forty people have never opened.

Teamli does both. The dashboard is built from a library of widgets, gated by role, so an employee, a line manager and an HR admin each open the same page and see the version that is useful to them. Underneath sit the reports - leave, allowances, sickness and Bradford factor, policy compliance, issues and review completion - each of which exports to CSV, because someone will always want it in a spreadsheet.

Dashboard & reports

The information, arranged around the person reading it.

Widgets for what needs doing today, reports for what needs explaining later.

Configurable dashboards

Build a dashboard from a library of widgets rather than taking ours.

Role-gated widgets

Sensitive widgets appear only for the roles allowed to see them.

Pending approvals

Everything waiting on a manager, in one place, with one-click actions.

Who's off

Today, this week, and who is back when - without opening the calendar.

Absence alerts

Bradford-style triggers and emerging patterns surfaced, not buried.

Overdue RTW interviews

The return-to-work conversations that have slipped, before they slip further.

Leave summary reports

Booked, taken and remaining across the company, by person or leave type.

Remaining allowances

Who is sitting on three weeks in October, while there is still time to fix it.

Sickness & Bradford factor

Per-employee absence with the Bradford score calculated for you.

Policy compliance

Who has acknowledged what, who is overdue, and who has never opened it.

Issue reporting

Volume, categories, owners and average time to resolution.

CSV export

Every report exports, because someone will always want it in a spreadsheet.

A dashboard per role, not per product

Pick the widgets that matter and drop the ones that do not. An employee gets their leave balance, their upcoming time off and the policies still waiting on them. A manager gets the approval queue, who is off this week and any absence alerts on their team. An HR admin gets the organisation-wide view. Sensitive widgets are gated by permission, so nobody is shown a summary of something they are not allowed to open.

Absence, measured consistently

The sickness report gives you per-employee absence with the Bradford factor calculated from the records you already hold - short, frequent absences weighted more heavily than a single long one. That turns "I think Dave has been off a lot" into a number, applied the same way to everyone, which is exactly what you need before anyone starts a conversation about it.

Proving compliance, not claiming it

Policy compliance reporting shows who has acknowledged each version, who is overdue and who has never opened it. Leave reporting shows booked, taken and remaining, so the person sitting on three weeks in October is visible while there is still time to do something about it. Everything exports to CSV for the board pack or the auditor.

Dashboards & reporting FAQs

What can I see on the dashboard?

Whatever is useful to you. The dashboard is built from a library of widgets - pending approvals, who is off, your leave balance, upcoming leave, absence pattern alerts, overdue return-to-work interviews, performance reviews, a to-do list, quick actions and a calendar wallchart - and you choose which ones appear.

Do employees and managers see the same thing?

No, and they should not. Widgets are gated by role, so an employee sees their own balance and outstanding policies, a manager sees their approval queue and their team’s absence alerts, and an HR admin sees the organisation-wide picture. Nobody is shown a widget their permissions would not let them open anyway.

What reports does Teamli include?

Leave summary and remaining allowances, a per-employee sickness report with the Bradford factor calculated, policy compliance with who has and has not acknowledged, overdue acknowledgements, issue summaries with resolution times, and performance review completion for managers and HR.

Can I export the data?

Yes - every report exports to CSV, so it opens in Excel or Google Sheets and can go straight to your accountant, your board pack or a payroll run without being retyped.

What is the Bradford factor?

It is a standard measure that weights short, frequent absences more heavily than a single long one, on the basis that repeated one-day absences disrupt a team more. Teamli calculates it per employee from the sickness records you already hold, so you have a consistent number rather than a gut feeling.

Will it tell me about problems before I go looking?

That is the intent. Absence pattern alerts, overdue return-to-work interviews and unacknowledged policies surface on the dashboard rather than waiting to be run as a report, and the daily who’s-off digest lands in inboxes each morning. Reporting is for the questions you know to ask; the dashboard is for the ones you do not.
